Interview With Alisa Strutzel, Owner
Give us some background on Tastebuds:
Originally the owners of the Mission Village talked to us about establishing a coffee bar, but we wanted to do something besides only coffee. My husband, Scott, came up with the idea of adding wine because it’s such a growing industry. It’s interesting because wine and coffee have the same flavor and palette profile. You can pair wine and coffee with a lot of the same things. So, we could serve coffee in morning and wine at night plus sell retail. We had our grand opening on April 13th, 2007 and everything that we’ve done so far has really just fallen into place.
Any awards or big accomplishments this year?
We were awarded the “Best New Business of the Year” and “Entrepreneur of the Year” by the Wenatchee Business Journal! And our coffee roaster, Zoka, just won “Coffee Roaster of the Year” for 2008.
How has Clear Focus helped your business?
I’m not much of a computer person, so more than anything, it has given me a tremendous peace of mind. I don’t have to worry about what happens if our computers have issues. People don’t realize but our entire inventory is on the computers so it’s extremely difficult for us to operate our business without computers. Whenever we have an issue I know Clear Focus is going to be here to take care of it.
Why did you decide to go with Clear Focus and CompleteCare?
They always take care of me…fast! I have been very happy with their customer service. I know I can trust them to take care of my computer needs.
